FUN, BUT NOT VERY CHALLENGING July 1, 2010 The Bear (Groveland, CA USA) I purchased this game because I have "Return to Ravenhearst" and "Dire Grove". They are really great, with good story-lines, amazing graphics and difficult puzzles. After playing those games, I am a little disappointed with this one. It's pretty easy to find the hidden objects and solve the puzzles. It's fun, but not much of a challenge. I think it would be perfect for my grandchildren, ages 8 & 10.
PC video game December 12, 2009 Roxie Ann Fast (Saint Cloud, MN United States) I received my game in about 4 days after I purchased it. It is a fun game to play and I really like it. I love hidden object games and this is a fairly good one.
A Fun Game December 3, 2009 Joseph R. Lacy (Winter Park, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects is a fun and challenging hidden objects games. The objects are hidden well enough, and there are enough locations to search, that even when you play the game numerous times it is still challenging and enjoyable. My wife and I have played this separately and as a team, and while it might be just a little easier (especially as a team), it is still fun to play.
Great Mix of Humor and Hidden Objects November 9, 2009 LH422 (Washington, USA) The MCF games are always high-quality, and this one is no exception. It has excellent artwork, and objects are well-integrated into the scenes without being completely obscure. In this game you act as an investigator trying to figure out who stole the diamond. You investigate 20-odd suspects- and here's where we get to see some humor. These suspects are all rather shady characters, humorously drawn, who fit into some amusing stereotypes without being offensive (think the stage diva who can't sing, the kind of shady carnival worker, the stay-at-home mom who has a side job as a bank robber). As you investigate each character you'll find out if they have an alibi or not. At the end of the game, you solve a final puzzle to determine which of the five is guilty. This changes each time you play, preserving replay value. This game is now several years old, but I remember when it came out it was leaps and bounds ahead of its time.
Zoning out October 27, 2009 C. Estelle (Mesa, Arizona United States) This is a great game for zoning out and clearing your mind. It's not stressful or overly competitive so much as fun and the character write-ups for the prime suspect are absolutely hilarious. I love the well hidden objects and the game progresses to greater difficulty without being overly repetitive.
