What if you landed in a strange place and had to get home? That's the challenge for Putt-Putt and his friend, Rover, a lonely little lunar terrain vehicle left behind by the astronauts. To get home, they have to rebuild a rocket - but first they've got to find all the parts. Kids are captivated by the colorful characters who help them, including Governor Moonbeam, a host of friendly aliens, and even the Man in the Moon. It's a space-age world of wonder, laughter and learning, all in one. Lively talking characters and detailed animation keep children riveted for hours. Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is so entertaining, even adults have a hard time resisting the pull of this cosmic adventure. What's more, Putt-Putt features lots of fun new surprises every time kids play. It all adds up to a stellar experience that's truly out of this world.
Not Worth It! (2008-04-03)
My son (3) loves the other PuttPutt games, but he didn't like this one because of the poor graphics and the fact that it has "monsters". He was afraid of it.
To old to play well (2008-01-21)
Putt Putt Goes to the Moon
We have almost every title that Humongous has made for Freddi the Fish, PJ Sam, and Putt Putt. This game must be one of the first because it plays like an antique. We have no problems with all the other games (one glitch on PJ Sam hopping to save Granny Apple) but this one is EXTREMELY jerky. My child can't even play it because it runs so bad. We haven't got Putt putt goes to the Zoo and now I am hesitant.
It's like comparing Steamboat Willy to Fantasia - that is how it plays. I say skip this one. I wish I had. We are on a Mac running in classic - since the games were first developed for Macs I expected it to run.
Graphics Are Poor Compared To Other Putt Putt Games. (2008-01-14)
My son loves Putt Putt. He has "Putt Putt Saves the Zoo", "Putt Putt Travels Through Time" and "Putt Putt Enters The Race"....all great games. Saves the Zoo is the only one where the game doesn't change each time you play it, but it's still a good game. I bought "Putt Putt Goes to the Moon" for my son for Christmas. We inserted the disc and got the game going. Well, as soon as he saw the graphics, he didn't like it. Pep looks totally different, and everything is cheap looking compared to the other Putt Putt games. If you never bought a Putt Putt game for your child, then this one should be fine. But if he or she already has Putt Putt games (or any of the other Humungous games like Freddi Fish or Pajama Sam, both I highly recommend byy the way), it will be hard for them to get past the difference in graphics. I even love playing these games with my child, but I can understand why it's not even appealing. I'm sure the game itself is great, as they all are, but I can't get past the graphics to even give this game a chance. I'm not going to give it only one star, though, because it probably is a good game in spite of it's appearance.
Putt Putt Moon (2007-08-03)
Exciting game for kids to let their imagination unfold. It provides a sense of suspense in the child's mind as they play, for they don't know what's gonna be next in the game. It's fun!!
poor quality (2007-05-07)
My 3 yr old grand sone likes it but I have to set up the video resolution before it will work. All of these games seem to be written by different people and none are very professional.

I remember playing this when I was very young, and loving it! I have some very good memories from Putt-Putt games, especially Putt-Putt goes to the moon. I don't know what computers support this game now, though, so please find out if it runs on your computer before you buy it.

Putt-Putt is a great choice! (2008-09-12)
The story line didn't seem as involved as "Race" or "Zoo" (which has a good song) but my children spent quite a bit of time on this one. Putt-Putt is very interactive, requires some logic problem solving, and operates on older PCs so the kids aren't on your machine all the time.
and more grandchildren? (2008-08-10)
Brilliant game- kept the grandchildren occupied for hours - and they're still playing the game (and so are their parents)
Putt-Putt kicks butt-butt! (2008-06-03)
My kids loved all the Humongous Entertainment games: Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, Freddie Fish, and Putt-Putt most of all. "Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon" is another classic.
In this age of computer-game graphics addiction, it's refreshing to see a kid's game that focuses on problem solving and the puzzles. Boys between five and eight love these products.
The game is great for 6-8 yr olds (2008-01-07)
My grandkids play this game and Putt Putt goes to the circus over and over again. They all started playing it when about 5 yrs of age, and they still play it! Yes the graphics are primitive to a degree, but the puzzle is what entrances them. Mom, Dad and Grandparents can also sit and help the little ones with this. In fact, Grandma/Grandpa, try it yourself first! LOL. It's fun.
Lots of fun (2007-04-11)
My 6 year old loves to play the Putt-Putt games as well as Freddie Fish. They are great entertainment for rainy days. This particular game does seem to be older than some of the other versions though with graphics not quite as good as Putt-Putt "goes to the race" or "to the circus".
