Don't Buy This (2008-12-24)
Straight up do not waste your money on this product. I bought the Video Game Jockey in order to play my XBox 360 on a computer monitor, and the quality was absolutely terrible. Furthermore, the audio/visual lag was still a problem. Afterward, I bought a cable made by XBox that plugs into the console and goes to VGA. This cable works beautifully and preserves picture quality very well. It also helped to eliminate A/V lag. You should be able to buy the cable at any Best Buy or large electronics store.
Turn your monitor into a video game TV! (2008-11-23)
I don't have enough space in my dorm room for a TV, but the gamer in me told me I couldn't live without my Wii or my PS2. So I bought this product and it has made life a whole lot easier. I have a Compaq monitor from 1998, and I can play video games well on it. The complaints come from people who are playing games with very high quality graphics, granted this product doesn't produce a perfect picture it is hardly noticeable to me. (It depends on the quality of the monitor) I notice that the sound produced was sort of scratchy on my old speakers, but when I tried my newer, nicer speakers, the sound was perfect.
I am able to instantly switch from my game to my computer's desktop, so there's no set up trouble each time you want to play a game. It will hook up to anything that has RCA cables. A VGA cable is included for you to connect to it. If you are in a situation where there is no TV, this is a great thing to have, to be able to turn your computer's monitor into a TV!
Did not work very well (2008-09-16)
The only way I could make it work was to hold the S-video/component switch halfway in. Other than that it seemed to work fine! Seriously, though holding the switch is not acceptable. I returned this item.
Does exactly what it says it will do, this is not a HD converter (2008-03-26)
Thankfully this product worked instantly out of the box. I was also relieved that there are position adjustments, so that an off center image can be centered by this box and the monitor. Some boxes force you to only use the monitor to adjust the image, which is not a great solution.
The image quality is a little bit weak when using the RCA jack, but that is to be expected. I always use component connections for my PS2, so it was a bit jarring to get thrown back to the bad RCA connection.
Edit - Now that I am using an S-video cable there is significant improvement over the picture quality. I would have much preferred component cables connections, however given that this is not a true HD converter, and the low cost, it is somewhat understandable.

Makes My Super NES Playable Again On My LCD TV (2008-02-01)
The good thing about using this device is that I can now play my U.S. Super NES, as well as several other game systems like my TV Games units, on my flatscreen LCD TV through its PC monitor port without having the game screen suffering problems when I power up. However, if one's buying this in the hopes that it may serve as a PAL-to-NTSC converter, like I did when I tried to get my PAL-compatible Super NES to run on my flatscreen TV and monitor, it won't work.
