In Tradewinds 2, you'll set sail for adventure! Captain your ship to exotic locations, trading goods with merchants to make a profit. Earn enough doubloons to buy bigger ships - and bigger guns. You'll use them to send those scurvy pirates to the bottom of the sea. Then you'll relax on shore leave, for a round of brews at the local alehouse -- where you can collect game tips! Tradewinds 2 (2008-03-04)
I found this to ba a fast paced game that I enjoy even as an adult. the graphics are scaled more for a child but some of the actions you do take an older view to appreciate.
pirates beware (2007-12-16)
I was introduced to this game via a one hour free download. I didn't want to have to keep being connected to play, so I bought it. It's fun and challenging at first, but once you get the rhythm behind how to win, all those pirate battles begin to get a bit tedious.
Tradewinds 2 (2007-08-28)
This game is great. I've beat it, many times, and still keepp playing it. Also, the product was shipped quickly, and recieved in a matter of a few days after ordering. I emailed the company seeking information on another game (the 1st Tradewinds) and was emailed back with an answer within a couple of hours! Customer service was way above anything I expected and I will use their services whenever possible.
Tradewinds 2 - Great fun (2007-07-18)
Very easy to play. The free trade mode is a little more challenging, but not so much so that it seems impossible at time. Hours of fun!
Tradewinds Legends is better (2007-06-17)
If you don't have Tradewinds Legends then buy it first. If you've played that to death and still want more, then buy Tradewinds 2. TW Legends is the same price, is a better game, and has better graphics.

If you enjoy games that involve buying items at low prices and selling them for profit in other areas and like a little fighting in between, Tradewinds is the game for you! Starting out, you choose 1 of 4 characters to play, either merchant or pirate in career. Merchants have the ability to use all the port facilities but get taxed more while pirates avoid the taxes but only get ship repairs in 1 location. After you have chosen your character, you can travel to several different port cities looking for the lowest priced goods to buy and the best places to sell them. At most ports there are banks where you can save your money and earn interest, money lenders for quick cash, Alehouses to get valuable information and hire services, the Port Authority which will give you news and bounties on pirates, warehouses to store goods, and shipyards to repair and buy upgrades for your ship.
